We would like every rider to know that we work cooperatively with the Ashland County Aging Unit. If you require mobility assistance and are riding within the City of Ashland, please contact the Ashland County Aging Unit at (715) 682-4414. If they cannot assist you, BART can help by scheduling the soonest ride possible.
We ask that if you need a ride, please do your best to give us at least one hour
advance notice.
We understand that with a disability, you may have some mobility barriers. You may want to consider applying for an ADA Identification card. This card will allow you to receive special services. This program was created from the Americans with Disabilities Act Law and is designed to assist individuals with mobility barriers.
There is a Mobility Manager specialist who will train individuals, on a one-on-one basis about riding the bus. The Mobility Manager can answer any questions or concerns that you may have.
To learn more about the ADA program, please call the BART office at (715) 682-9664.
