Iron River to Ashland
The Iron River to Ashland Transit runs every Friday and is available to everyone. The van leaves the Iron River Community Center for Ashland at 9 a.m. and returns from Ashland by 3:30 p.m. Once in Ashland, the van will operate a demand service so passengers can get to their medical appointments, make shopping stops, or run other errands. Space is limited and rides are reserved on a first come, first served basis.
Please make reservations no later than Thursday at 3 p.m. Residents of Iron River can request to be picked up at their homes at 8:30 a.m. On a space available basis, riders without reservations may catch the van at 9 am at the Community Center. This service is operated by Bayfield County Human Services in partnership with BART.
