Cash Fares
Cash fares are based on the number of zones a passenger rides for
a one-way trip. Exact cash must be placed in the fare box upon boarding the bus. The driver does not give change, but may require a passenger to show the fare before entering it in the fare box.

Volume Passes
Volume passes are based on the cash fare rates, but offer the rider a discount for buying the pass in advance. This pass does not expire. Purchase of volume passes may be made by check or exact cash from the driver or any of the pass outlets.

Monthly Passes
Monthly passes are available and the best deal for frequent riders. Monthly passes provide unlimited rides within the number of zones purchased by the rider. The pass is for the individual purchaser only and may not be shared. Your name must be placed on the pass and will be recorded at the BART office for identification. This pass does expire at the end of each month. Purchase of monthly passes may be made by check or exact cash from the driver or any of the pass outlets.

Day Passes
Day passes are available for riders within the city of Ashland or Washburn. These passes provide one payment of $4.00 for unlimited rides within the city only during one day.
BART Passes may be purchased from the drivers with exact amount or at the following locations:
- Ashland City Hall Treasurer's Office
- Washburn City Hall
